Purchasing a Sporting License
You may purchase sporting licenses and permits:

- at any license issuing outlet (most town clerks' offices
and many sporting goods stores),
- by phone:* 1-86-NY-DECALS (1-866-933-2257), or
- by mail: VERIZON business, P.O. Box 36985, Phoenix AZ
85067-6985 (download a mail order application form for residents
(43K pdf) or non-residents
(31K pdf). If you purchased a sporting license
through our computerized licensing system last year,
please include the 12-digit Customer ID Number from your
license privilege panel in the space provided on the top
of the form.
v Visit our new online store where you can order everyday fishing gear, clothing, specialty items and bait. This section will include catalogs from many of our suppliers for those hard to find items
v Check
in often to view online fishing reports and videos about sea conditions and the best areas to catch fish. Communicate with other anglers about topics of interest and daily fishing action
